  Professionalism, Exceptional Customer Service, Expertise, and Execution. These are the words I would utilize to describe my experience with Jeff and his team from Maximum Air. I had a 20-year-old Bryant zoned Hvac system which I had been “limping along” for the last couple of years with the understanding that once the compressor went a full system replacement would be in order. Unfortunately, this happened during a heat spell a couple of weeks ago. Fortunately, I had saved Jeff’s name which had been shared with me a few years ago by someone involved in Hvac parts and sales here in Fresno. I called his company, Michelle took the information, dispatched Anthony, who promptly arrived, and after diagnostics recognized quickly that it was indeed the compressor that was shorted to ground. Having done my research over the last year, I knew which Bryant/Carrier systems I would potentially consider. Jeff called me later that same evening and we went over the pros and cons of each as well as the details of my personal situation. He took the time to answer all of the questions that I had. I ultimately decided on the 5 ton complete Carrier Infinity System. Within several days, we had the new system installed, which has been working flawlessly since. This is the expertise and execution component of my review. Where the customer service and professionalism shined was when Jeff offered, and then personally delivered, portable AC units for our use until we made a decision on the HVAC system. He kept reminding me that he was doing this, regardless of whether or not I decided to go with him for Hvac replacement. all of this was done prior to us discussing or signing a contract. As I shared with him the first time we spoke, I’m “old-school” and an insider’s professional referral and first impression go a long way with me, and I had already made the decision to go with Jeff’s company. Lastly, in terms of the system, it is quiet and definitely more efficient than our 20-year-old system, as expected. On 100+ degree day comparisons from this year, we have already noticed about a 40 to 50 kW per day improvement! I know the real efficiency improvements will come once cooler weather hits and the heat pump compressor is being utilized versus furnace. Thanks again Jeff, Anthony, Marco, Matthew, Andrew and the rest of the installation team. Keep up the strong work.

  If you don’t like reading long reviews, let me start by saying this: Maximum Air was one of the best experiences I’ve had for service, value, and overall customer care, Our air conditioner compressor went out, and the system was approaching 10 years old. After calling Maximum Air, everything moved quickly. They even loaned us a couple of portable A/C units to help keep us comfortable until the new system could be installed. Our existing rooftop plenum was an odd setup left over from the previous owner. Rather than just trying to make the new system work with it, Maximum Air installed a new plenum and brought in a roofer to make sure everything fit and was sealed correctly. From the day our old unit went out to the day the new one was completely installed was literally one week. We went with a multi-speed Bosch heat pump system, and although I only have a little data so far, the difference in power usage absolutely blew me away. I found two very similar summer days on my PG&E usage history for comparison. With our old unit, on a 104-degree day, we used 28.4 kWh. With the new Bosch system, on a 103-degree day, we used only 13.4 kWh. Less than half! I attached photos of the usage comparison. I purposely haven’t cleaned my solar panels yet because I wanted the comparison to be as fair as possible. Obviously, everyone’s results will be different depending on the age and efficiency of the old system, the house, insulation, solar system, thermostat settings, etc., but I was extremely impressed. We normally end up paying a few hundred dollars at true-up each year, and based on what I’m seeing so far, this may eliminate that completely. I’m also not concerned about switching to electric heat in the winter because we normally keep the thermostat around 60 degrees. We still have a gas dryer and gas water heater, so we’ll still have some gas usage, but I am totally stoked about what we’re seeing so far. The other big thing was price. I got a quote from one of the big HVAC companies that advertises heavily on KMJ, and their price was thousands of dollars higher for essentially the same equipment. Their advertising gives you that small, local mom-and-pop feeling, but the pricing certainly didn’t feel that way. Personally, I’d rather not pay for all that advertising. 😂 Jeff and his employees at Maximum Air are down-to-earth, easy to deal with, and genuinely seem to care that you are completely happy with the job and the entire experience. Call Maximum Air first. You’ll be glad you did!

  Absolutely PHENOMENAL service from Marco! After having multiple other companies come and quote us between $17,000-$33,000 for a full system replacement, Marco was able to diagnose our problem and get our AC back up and running in less than an hour for only $325! Would absolutely recommend Maximum Air to anyone in Fresno looking for integrity, fair prices, and fantastic service!
